Serving the Local Community

New Brunswick Dinner Ministry

The New Brunswick Dinner Ministry (Also known as Welcome Table) is hosted by United Methodist Church of New Brunswick and operates daily, providing dinner for those who are in need. Around 70-100 people come by the church to pick up food every evening. This ministry stemmed from a time of need when the pandemic started and a nearby local food kitchen stopped providing dinners. Currently PEM is signed up to cook meals on every 1st and 5th Saturday of the month, and so usually House Churches will volunteer to cook and provide food for these days. However, there are other ways to volunteer such as arriving at the church on any day at 5:00PM and helping to either prep the food or help out by cleaning.
